Staying warm this winter hasn't been a problem since the DC Metro area has been spoiled with more warm days than cold for quite a while. It just so happens that we got snow that stuck throughout last night and this morning, but it's nothing to stop the press for.
Growing up, my mom's way of keeping me warm was this:
No lie! I wore a pink snowsuit. Even on days there was no snow!
Cold weather was the enemy.
WOW! It never dawned on me that I looked like a pink gum-ball rolling down the street on my bike.
Now that I'm older I see cold as my best friend...sometimes. Well, not my "best friend," but one of those friends that you don't really like and they don't like you, but you still hang out and they compliment you a lot (and tend to keep you on your A-game, if you know what I mean).
I guess winter and I are more like frenemies!
The cold of winter is what brings out my layers of accessories. I love love love layering! It's not enough to just have on a coat and earmuffs. Who doesn't look great all bundled up in scarves and boots? So for this winter layers of accessories are keeping me warm and cute (including a delicious 5 pump vanilla latte from Starbucks, of course)!
- Check out my accessory "must haves" list:
I must have my skinny jeans, leg warmers, gloves, pea coat, scarf, hat, Starbucks, and last but not least, a smartphone to take photos!
What are you wearing to keep you warm this winter?

I was provided a Windows 8X by HTC phone for the purpose of participating in #Troop8X. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Okay, so now you gonna make me go and bust out my boots just so that I can go to the mailbox or the store to wear them and take some pics. LOL! Those black boots are too cute. My style is all about jeans and boots, all day, everyday. Especially when there's snow outside. Hey, is that a snow-covered pond or field behind the houses? Either way, it looks fun.

I'm from Florida, so no need for real winter wear, but I love scarves and my North Face jacket. Keep me warm in our insane 50 degree weather :) Stopping by from SITS. Happy Saturday! I'd love for you to stop by and visit back if you get the chance :)
