Crayola Outdoor Bubbles Review & GIVEAWAY

My kids really love bubbles. Most kids do. I actually think love may be an understatement, if that's possible.

So, you can imagine what it was like to tell them we would be reviewing the newest and most exciting bubbles of all time.

Crayola Outdoor Colored Bubbles

Their response was, "YAAAAAAAAY! Right now?"

They couldn't wait, and I knew they would be pulling me out the door to get into the grass. My daughter Isabella loves bubbles so much, she can tell you a stories about playing with bubbles from when she was two years old. They're not made up. It's mind blowing.

Who knew bubbles could be so much fun?

I think Crayola's Outdoor Colored Bubbles might just be their favorite kind of bubbles now.

They're fun and MESSY!

The wind up launcher shoots multiple bubbles at once, so it's fun to entertain multiple kids at the park.

We like to make a game of catching the bubbles before they land. The outdoor bubbles definitely have to be used outdoors, because they explode with color when popped.

The colors are very vivid. This is what the yellow outdoor bubbles look like when they pop in your hair. It's no problem, because clean up is easy.

Each container has a blow wand for simple bubble blowing fun.

The bubbles aren't just fun for the kids, they're also pretty.

We had a few problems getting our wind up launcher going at first, and since my kids couldn't wait a moment longer, I grabbed our favorite bubble wand.

I liked using the pan and bubble wand set we already owned for creating the really large bubbles. It works well with the Crayola bubbles, and my girls really had fun with them.

A few days later we tried out the Crayola Outdoor Colored Bubbles Machine and it was by far my favorite "must have" accessory. All I had to do was pour bubbles in the tray and turn it on. It was non-stop fun for the kids and even better for me!

Overall the bubbles were very messy, but a lot of fun. I would recommend using the bubble machine for any age, but definitely for kids under 5 years old, because it's battery powered and will take very little effort to give all kids hours of fun.

Check out these great tips for a successful play date with colored bubbles:

  • Dress for Mess. Wear washable play clothes and shoes. It's best to not wear suede, leather or any other material that can't be washed.
  • Play Outside. An open grassy area is best away from new concrete, decks and porous surfaces like marble. Don't use at formal events like weddings.
  • Rub skin to remove color.
  • Launder clothes promptly with water and detergent. Repeat washing may be needed.
  • Hose off outdoor surfaces like sidewalks and driveways to wash away color.

How To Disable App Downloads & In-App Purchases on Apple Products

Several unsuspecting parents like myself have received bills from iTunes for downloaded apps and in-app purchases.

Some charges have reached the thousands.

Instead of taking part in the class action lawsuit against Apple, I made a "how to" video to show parents how to turn off app downloads and in-app purchases on iTunes.

I feel much better knowing my wallet is not getting handed over every time I give my kids my Apple products.
