Well, one of this season's contestants is also one of BlissDom's closest family members. For four years Chris Mann has been a part of the BlissDom family, entertaining and loving on the blogging community.
We all love Chris so much and are very proud to see that he has not only been welcomed and coached by the one and only Christina Aguilera on her team, but as of last night he survived a head to head battle against another contestant. He will now compete on the live shows for the title of, The Voice!
I'm praying for Chris's success on the show, he is an amazing singer and was so kind in between his tapings of The Voice to entertain us two weeks ago at BlissDom once again.
Hubby: "The last movie we went to was The Muppets."
Me: "You're right."
Hubby: "That outing cost me $50.00, and I had to ride the escalator with screaming Gabby during 3/4 of the film."
Me: "Yeah, that was crazy."
Hubby: "Yeah, I could've ridden escalators anywhere else for free!"
Has this ever happened to you?
You go to the movies thinking you can take your little ones and it's actually going to work out. I've done this several times. I've actually chosen films that are for them hoping they with stay entertained and sit through it.
Halfway through, I vow never to take the youngest out again. She disrupts every movie with whining and crying. Then, most of the movie if not all is spent nursing her or in the hallway entertaining her.
It's always embarrassing and I can't help feeling bad for the people there without children. Surely they are annoyed.
Well, thankfully AMC Theaters and The Bump have teamed up to offer Moms "Bring Your Baby" Matinees every first Tuesday of every month.
They'll be showing the latest blockbuster with brighter lights and lower volume. Breastfeeding, stroller parking, and crying babies are welcome!
How awesome is that? A playdate at the movies for Mom. I love that!
Big Idea Entertainment is proud to release their newest DVD VeggieTales®: Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men, available at Christian retail stores March 3rd and everywhere March 6th, 2012.
My girls and I have previewed the video and we absolutely love it. It's a very fun twist on the story of Robin Hood that is very funny and cute with a serious message.
The VeggieTales are all action, entertaining children as they learn some of the most important lessons in life.
Watch now as Robin Good and his Merry Men "fundraise from the rich, and give to the poor." This episode will teach kids a very valuable lesson on rejection and being hurt.
