Toning Up My Skin Using Makari de Suisse Skin Care

This week I was introduced to the Makari de Suisse Skin Care line and I was interested in trying it out, because it is designed to even skin tone and fade discolorations.

Since I have such problem skin, after breakouts I always end up with new scars from where I've scratched my face. I pretty much look like a teenager at least 20 days out of the month, so I'm always up for trying a fade cream that has great results.

I can't just try any product available, because I don't need anything adding to my problems and making my skin worse, so I have to be very selective with which brightening cream I buy.

What peaked my interest about Makari de Suisse products were the online testimonials. A lot of women have been pleased with their results. After doing my research of the skin brightening products online, I found the Day Treatment Cream to be something I should try.

The Day Treatment Cream is a daily moisturizer to even out the skin tone. It has a high lightening agent content, that will help get rid of unwanted pigmentation, dark spots, and blemishes for good. It also stimulates the formation of new epidermal cells without pigmented marks.

That's just what I need.

"To create a more even complexion, Makari uses an active solution they’ve created from a plant extract they obtain in Australia to fade the darker pigments on the skin. The active ingredients target the darker areas on the skin, creating a more even and clear complexion without a trace of prior complications."

Makari de Suisse

Unfortunately, Freestyle Beauty, the nearest store in my area that sells Makari de Suisse, was a 30 minute drive from my house. I did like that it was located in a large shopping center, because it allowed me to do some necessary (one stop) shopping.

When I arrived in the store I walked up and down every isle looking for the Makari line, which was hard to find, because it was locked away in a glass cabinet. I had a salesman assist me and he also recommended the Day Treatment Cream.

The selection of Makari de Suisse products at Freestyle Beauty was large, but since the products were locked up I didn't feel like I had an ample opportunity to check out the rest of the product line in person. I don't like shopping under those circumstances, so in the future I would call around to see if any other stores in the area have Makari out on the shelves. Since I was buying Makari for the first time, I felt a little rushed to only grab the Makari product I had set out to buy while the cabinet was open and move on. (no add on sales there)

I enjoyed checking out all of the products in the store from hair care to nail polish and makeup, and found it hard to leave empty handed. In addition to purchasing the Makari Day Treatment Cream, I also bought Beautiful Textures Tangle Taming Shampoo and Leave-In Conditioner for my daughter Isabella. This was my first time buying that brand as well.

Overall, my impression of the Makari de Suisse Day Treatment Cream is that it smoothes on nicely, it's very lightweight, and smells great. My face felt soft after applying it and the cream did not dry up and feel like a mask. That is always one of my concerns with face products. I hate that dry cracking feeling. The Day Treatment Cream actually put moisture into my skin which is normally dry and I like that. I'm hoping to see a real difference in the fading of my dark spots within the month. I'll update this post with before and after photos in a few weeks. Until then you can view more photos from my Makari de Suisse shopping experience in my Google+ album.

It seems as though we both have the same issue with our skin giving us problems every now and then. Hopefully you'll see positive results!

I took a brief break from the day cream during a breakout this month, but I hope to see it clear up my latest scar soon. It's snack in the middle of my chin. ;(

Glad to have a product like Makari to remedy problems like this.
