Today, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar went in for their routine pregnancy check up, hoping to find out the gender of their baby, only to be told that there was no heartbeat or movement. Such sad news!
My heart goes out to them.
Of course they were very excited. They were planning to pick names with their other 19 children when they returned. Instead they had to break the news to the kids that they had suffered a miscarriage.
As a mom who has suffered through two high-risk pregnancies, I know too well the complications that can surround a pregnancy.
It's so unfortunate, but I know that Michelle and Jim Bob are believers in Christ and are receiving plenty of comfort during this difficult time.
My prayer is that they will continue to be the best parents to their children and grandchildren and continue to let God use them as amazing teachers and role models.

I was very sorry to hear about this news as well. A lot has been said about her having another child after giving birth to 19 kids, but I say if she and her husband want 20 children and they are income sufficient and able to love, then why not? Who are we to judge.

For all the critics of Michelle for having so many kids, well, no one would ever wish a loss of a child on anyone, even her. It's devastating whether it's your first pregnancy or 20th.
