This year has been so hard.
I spent the first part of the year wondering if I was going to survive it as I suffered with hyperemesis and then the second part wondering if my baby would be okay.
We've been through a lot, but God has been good and the keyword is "been through".
We are through it and we are ALL here! I am so thankful.
Lord, thank You for giving us this day!
"...Where my kid can be a kid!" And every other kid in America! Gosh this place gets crowded. What a great concept though. An arcade/live theather/restaurant/fun house all for kids! My kid especially has been spoiled by it. She goes EVERY day rain or shine with my dad, and she thinks she owns the place. People having birthday parties for their own kids invite her to be a part of their group not knowing that she has probably blown out the last party's candles (she's famous for claiming birthday's). She has more pictures with Chuck E. Cheese than she has with me, I'm convinced. She loves the place! I'm glad, because it's a place that we can take her to and feel comfortable putting her on the rides, because they are designed with toddlers in mind. They have two separate sections of arcade and interactive games based on the age group. It's cute to see all of the little toddlers running around feeling like bigshots because they getting way more kick than were ever had in front of the K-marts and strip mall stores of yesteryear. Remember the dumb horse, that never galloped? If I had a dime for every quarter I lost in one of those machines I'd be rich! LOL That says something about the number of times I tried to catch a thrill on an outing with my folks. Kids today have it good, because the staff at Chuck E. Cheese is there to refund all monies (tokens really) lost in their machines, and they have way more ride options to choose from. I love it! We have found it to be a great alternative to an outdoor playground on sunny days and on rainy days just the same. Can you tell I'm sold?
Tonight I was presented at the Belcourt Theater in historic Nashville, Tennessee as one of the faces of the Go Red For Women- Nashville Campaign through the American Heart Association.
It was such an honor and so awesome to see so man women come out and participate in this movement.
The ABC/NBC special with Meridith Viera was shown and we all received red roses and gift bags filled with heart healthy information.
My whole family came to support me and that means a lot, because I Go Red for all of them!
